The dailymet package is a TEMPORARY package aiming at
providing utility functions dedicated to daily meteorological
timeseries, especially maximum daily temperature (TX). It provides
some missing methods for the "fevd" class from the
extRemes package. It focusses on the use of non-stationary
POT models and especially on Poisson-GP models, in view of
deriving a dedicated Weather Generator.
